Fear the Pie!

1930s style poster showing a man and woman staring at an incoming pie

I love this current poster campaign from the British Heart Foundation persuading us to exercise and eat healthily. While these 1930s style posters manage to raise a smile, they remind me of the recent campaign by the Metropolitan Police which was scarily Orwellian.

And on that note, today’s bite of the Biscuit.

We sat and decided
As the seasons collided
That our love was fairly Utopian.

If it wasn’t for my pills
And my psychiatric bills
And your unreliable fallopian.

From 1966 And All That on Back in the DHSS.
