Clagnut

British Blog awards 2003

The results of the Guardian competition are out (actually they were announced about a week ago):

Best design

Best use of photography

Best under-18

Best written

Best specialist

Judges’ award winner

Rob Gardiner’s NYCLondon, photo category winner, recently posted some photos of Olafur Eliasson’s massive Weather Project installation in the Tate Modern turbine hall. They reminded me of pictures I’d taken one lunchtime:

Rob’s photos are black & white, which I normally love, but in this case these could never quite do the sunset installation justice: the orange monochrome was a major feature in Eliasson’s thinking.

Incidentally, the photo has max-width:100% applied to it so, on decent browsers, it should never spill out of the text column (go on, shrink that browser window).
