¶ What is it with band names alliterating on the letter “F”? First off (in my collection) there was Foo Fighters, then Franz Ferdinand and Fiery Furnaces. Now there’s Fleet Foxes and Friendly Fires. All fine bands too. Any more I should add that are worth listening to?

There’s a band called “Five for Fighting” – http://www.fiveforfighting.com/
Technically a Triple F?

Not bad BW, but not quite my style. As you say, one too many F’s seems to be the problem.

Oceansize.
Now then, you might have noticed that there are no Fs in their name. While this is true I’m willing to look like an idiot if it means you give them a listen.

The mid-nineties Christian ska band, Five Iron Frenzy (youtube) fits into that category. Hearing them again brings back lots of memories from high school.

I really thought I would see Frou Frou on a the list somewhere, seeing the kind of bands you have listed…not even FunkmasterFlex (on a lighter note) – very observant find by the way*
