Clagnut

It’s an honour to be nominated… once more

Vote Clagnut!

As in previous years, Clagnut has been lucky enough to be nominated in the Best Personal Site and Blogs category of the Brighton and Hove Web Awards 2006. You can vote for Clagnut here. You’ll spot that I’m up against Jeremy, Andy and – bizarrely – A List Apart, so I guess my chances are slim. Still, it should be a fun evening again. Voting closes on Wednesay 8 November so hurry along and vote!

Weird! Do they know that ALA is made in the states? You would think that would disqualify us, judging by their site copy:

The sixth annual Brighton & Hove Web Awards showcases the wide range of web sites being produced in this digital city by the sea.

Nominate your favourite Brighton & Hove web site and then vote on the shortlist chosen by our judges.

    Thursday 7 November? ;-)
That’s the same as the meeting somebody planned at “Tuesday 8 november”... I’m still not 100% sure if he wanted me to come in today, or tomorrow..

    Thursday 7 November?

Doh. Wrong on both counts. Idiot. Duly corrected to Wednesday 8 November.

Daniel – the Web Awards website says that one ‘one can nominate any site that has something to do with Brighton & Hove’. My understanding is that the web site must be about Brighton or represent a Brighton-based organisation or individual.

I see that Jeremy is the winner, but how many votes comparative to two other nominates did you have?
