Lateral thinking

I was in my local organic coffee shop this morning, reading the label on a bottle of One water while waiting for my latte. It turns out that the profits from every bottle go to a South African company which installs PlayPumps. And this is where it get interesting.

PlayPumps are children-powered water pumps. But it’s not slave labour, it’s far more effective and simple than that. The kids are given a roundabout to play on and the roundabout powers a pump, delivering water into a nearby storage tank. Now that’s brilliant lateral thinking.

    Personal Value Precedes Network Value!
