Clagnut

Fig Roll

Seven months late, it’s Friday Biscuit time again. Today’s gem comes from The Light at the End of the Tunnel (Is the Light of an Oncoming Train) on Cammell Laird Social Club.

She stayed with me until
She moved to Notting Hill.
She said it was the place she had to be.

Where the cocaine is Free Trade
And frequently displayed
Is the Buena Vista Social Club CD.

Which leads me to point out a new feature on Clagnut. You can now choose which Amazon store Clagnut should link to.

My brother only bought about 3 Albums in his life – Parallel Lines, Back in the DHSS and Holst – The Planets.

He has also supported Tranmere Rovers for about 30 years and was often a regular at the Cammell Laird Social Club (almost getting barred once for milking the fruit machine stuck on a 20p payout at 10p a go but forcing a climb-down when they admitted selling alcahol to under age members – i.e. him)
