Clagnut

Autumn

We’ve just returned from a glorious weekend in Cambridge. Actually Saturday was pretty dismal; stifled by the cold, overcast incessant drizzle that so often permeates our globally warmed winters. However Sunday gave us the other side of the coin: a beautiful, crisp Autumn day. We did the tourist thing and punted along the Cam. Sycamores and beeches glowed orange and rust in the low sunshine; the sandstone riverside colleges emanated a magical reflected light, while swans and mallards pecked at the bowed and shedding willows. The whole city bathed carefree in a perfect English autumn day. Some photos will follow soon. (thanks Marcus and Mie).
